Welcome to the estes racing team. Frankie and Scott Estes compete in the Nascar Weekly racing series at Colorado National Speedway. Mike Dailey competes in the super stock division. the sportsman division is a limited late model division. we run on 8 inch tires, and run track sold fuel. the bodies are fiberglass, we use a stock front stub. all other parts can be fabricated. the Super Stock division is a striped out steel boby car with all the safety fitures required by nascar. they are many types of models in this class.

CARS

Scott and Frankie both run camaro chasis. they have been prepared by Jeff Purvis Race Cars(JP race cars). they both have 2003 Pont Grand Prix Bodies from Leary Racing parts.the motors are prepared by Schultz Racing Engines. the cars are maintained at the shop and on the race track by Frank Estes (dad) and Mike Dailey (crew chief) along with the entire crew , Crystal, Christian,Laura(George)little sis Shawna,and who ever we can round up for the weekend.


HISTORY

Frank Estes Jr Started racing in the early 60's at Erie Colorado. there was a Drag Strip there at that time. along with his brother Jim Estes they competed in the modified class. Frank ran a 55 chevy for the first few years. he then moved in to a 67 camaro, He competed at CDR, Tower Road (RMNS) PMI and the old Century 21 racing complex. he won many races with the camaro. he then moved in to the competition eliminator class with a B/SR 1927 t roadster as seen in the photos. they competed all over the country in that car. the Winternationals, US Nationals and the first 10 Mile High nationals. Frankie and Scott traveled all over with Dad. which resulted in them following and competing in racing.
